JING MANGALIAG
  I joined Chemsearch in 1998 as a Telesales partner handling the whole of metro manila. Although my previous sales experience was more on commercial products, my transition to industrial chemical sales was made easier with thorough sales and product training and the support of managers. In my first year, I already made my sales targets and have since consistently produced results. In 2001, I was promoted to handle call center training nationwide.

I attribute my success to the consistent training for sales and products. It helped me grow in skills and knowledge.

My advice for new colleagues is to accept every learning opportunity. Every training and learning tool is available to make you reach your full potential and to help your business grow.

I joined Chemsearch in Feb 2000 as an account executive for Mindanao. I was invited by my brother-in-law who was already with the company and highly recommended it. When I got the job, initially I was happy to be part of a big company as it was so organized and I was fully equipped before I set out to do field sales. What I didn’t expect was how much this job would really improve my skills and how I am as a person. Being trained in Chemsearch even overcame my fears of approaching people and making presentations. My confidence level has dramatically increased and every year, I’m learning something new and useful.

I base my success on the unique training style and programs of the company. With company support, I have made Salesman of the year and have been a sales achiever numerous times. What I appreciate most is being developed as a Waste water specialist, as now I’m recognized as a consultant by my clients and highly referred to for solutions by companies in my area.

For anyone who wants to have a career in sales, take to heart the training as this makes a solid foundation, not just for your business but also for your personal growth.

I joined Chemsearch in March 2000 as an account executive for Negros Occidental. Initially, I found my area a great challenge. Now, I am proud to say, I have consistently exceeded my sales goals as I have been Sales Awardee for numerous years and I have hit the millionaire mark several times in one year. And still my business continues to grow!

What made an impact in my success is having the initiative to work and learn, and being able to build a strong relationship with my customers. My customers trust me, my products and my company.

For all aspiring Chemsearch executives and new colleagues, I recommend that you have to be open to learning and continue learning. Build a strong relationship with your customers and always have a consistent work effort.

 

KRISTY LINAYAN

I joined Chemsearch in 1992 as an account executive for Cebu City. What attracted me initially was Chemsearch was a stable international company and from what I have observed, this is a company that I can really grow roots in. What impressed me more was the training and the support that I consistently received from my first day on the job as a new recruit to my challenges today as a manager. Chemsearch really made sure I will be successful. I now have several awards that I am proud of, including being the first in Asia to be the top seminar consultant.

What I love about my company is the training and support. I have gained much confidence over the years by following the Gears of Selling, by participating in specialized training for product and skill enhancement. I also appreciate that the chance to be recognized is always there. I am honored not just locally but regionally as well.

My advice for new colleagues and those interested in a career in Chemsearch, is be open to new ideas and challenges. This is what transforms us from good to great!
